A designer of Italian-Brazilian origin, Paula Cademartori is today internationally renowned for her iconic handbags line. The Autumn/Winter 2015 marks the launch of the first Paula Cademartori footwear collection combining the pivotal values of luxury and Italian craftsmanship with an extremely seductive and feminine vision of the contemporary woman. This new capsule will be presented to the Italian and international market for the first time on Saturday, April 18th during an exclusive event at the Milanese concept store “10 Corso Como” on the occasion of the Milan Design Week.



For this special event, she collaborated with Atelier Biagetti to create a lighting installation entitled, “PAULA”.







5 is the magic number in this site specific work: 5 plynths to display the 5 different models of “Lotus” shoe, each plynth with 5 sides, one side for each letter of the designer’s name. A colorful array of linear led lights are used to shout it out in block capitals: P-A-U-L-A!



The lighting elements are combined with high quality raw materials such as marble and copper, exquisitely worked by Milanese craftsmen, to highlight the various sides of the designer’s own character and her accessories: bold, decisive, feminine and fun, walk into the world of PAULA.
