“I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.” Sono di origini filippine ma sono nata ed ho vissuto qui in Italia da sempre. Frequento il secondo anno di Design della Comunicazione al Politecnico di Milano La passione è cio che mi ha spinto a scegliere questo corso di studi, passione per le idee, per le novità, per il video making e sopprattuto per la fotografia. Volevo scegliere un corso in grado di sviluppare il mio metodo progettuale e che fosse capace di ampliare i miei orizzonti. Se prima puntavo a diventare una fotografa capace di immortalare frammenti di vita capaci di rivivere "in eterno" nei miei scatti, ora in realtà vorrei diventare qualcuno in grado di saper sviluppare idee e progetti che comprendono vari campi quali il video making, la tipografia, il packging,lo studio metaprogettuale e la fotografia.. ed altri ancora.. campi da cui posso trovare ispirazione. Vivo giorno per giorno cercando nuovi fonti di ispirazione guardando siti su internet o ispirarmi ai più grandi o anche semplicemente documentandomi sulle ultime mostre o sulle ultime notizie in ambito tecnologico e artistico. Sono una persona entusiasta.. e a volte credo anche troppo. Forse è la bambina che vive ancora in me mi ricorda sempre di non dare nulla per scontato e che dietro ogni cosa.. cè sempre l'impegno e la fatica e soppratturo la passione e la creatività di qualcuno. Mi basta guardare una foto e rimanere li ad osservarla per ore ed ore guardando i minimi dettagli, oppure visitare mostre o fiere, scattando foto su foto documentando "le meraviglie" attorno a me. Sono una gran fan del fuorisalone, evento che aspetto con ansia ogni anno. Le novità e la capacità che ha il fuorisalone di accumulare cosi tante persone provenienti da paesi e da culture diverse è sorprendente.. credo che le migliori collaborazioni nascano cosi, con l'incontro di campi diversi e mentalità diverse. Frequento il fuorisalone da molto tempo ma non ho mai avuto il modo di propormi come una E-reporter, in quanto non mi sentivo ancora adeguata. Dopo due anni passati al Politecnico credo di aver acquisito le capacità necessarie per muovermi all'interno del Fuorisalone senza perdermi in passato facendo i miei giri da turista. Spero davvero di diventare una del vostro team in quanto credo sia un'esperienza da non perdere. Ho grinta da vendere e una fotocamera pronta per scattare. Grazie mille per l'opportunità.

“I have no special talents. I am only passionately curious.” This quote characterizes me a lot and is the best way to introduce myself. My name is Lesley Ann Culla and what can I say? I’m a dreamer and a passionate girl. My love for art and design started a quite young age but I’ve never thought to consider it as a future course of studies. A designer is someone who could combine passion, skills, and ideas and converte them into a finished product and that’s what I want to do one day. Passion is what made me choose this course of study, passion for ideas, news, video making and above all for photography. I live day by day looking for new daily doze of inspiration by looking at sites on the internet or be inspired by the greatest designers or simply looking for the latest exhibitions or the latest news in technology and the arts. I am an enthusiastic person .. and sometimes I think too much. Maybe it's the little girl who still lives in me who always reminds me to not take anything for granted and that behind every thing .. there is always the commitment and hard work and most of all the passion and creativity of someone. I just look at a picture and stay there to observe it for hours and hours looking at the smallest details, or visit exhibitions or fairs, taking photos of photos documenting the "wonders" around me. I am a big fan of Fuorisalone, an event that I look forward every year. It gathers so many people from different countries and different cultures and that is amazing .. Attending the Fuorisalone as an E-reporter it could be such and amazing experience for me. After two years at the Politecnico I believe that I have gained the skills necessary to move into the Fuorisalone without getting lost in the past doing my rounds as a tourist. I’m just at the beginning of my long journey but living with passion means expressing all the positive energy in everything I do and there’s no day goes me by having not a thousand of ideas in my head and then I start to imagine how I would create it, how I could sup- pose to give shape, color to my ideas. I do not believe in shortcuts, the only secret to achieve your dreams is just work harder than yesterday. I really hope to become one of your team because I think it is an experience not to be missed. I have determination to sell and a camera ready to shoot. Thank you very much for the opportunity.
