"Before Design: Classic": a new idea of classic

Before Design: Classic is the event-exhibition that Salone del Mobile has entrusted to the Ciarmoli Queda studio to propose a new idea of classic, meant not only as “looking back” but also as sign of the present and starting point for the future.

Eight-hundred square metres inside the stands of the Rho-Pero fair: this is the space dedicated to the exhibition, which puts on stage the various components of the classic made in Italy taste creating a balance between past, present and future. The concept at the basis of the exhibition draws inspiration from the Palladian villa, a classical element in which different spaces coexist revealing amazing multimedia and sensory installations.

Heart and main focus of the event-exhibition is the short film by Matteo Garrone on the idea of classic trying to go beyond any cultural and temporal barrier.
