EVENTO: CENA PER (LE) 8
VOTO:
There is a little spot with high ceilings and two tables overlooking the window in via Solferino. Eight people are seating and wave at us, so we walk in. There is a lovely aroma and they invite us to join them for dinner. They tell us that they are architects and designers from the London based Michaelis Boyd Studio and that this is the first year they show at the design week in Milan. They brought a chef with them, and he serves a complete mini-dinner to 8 people each hour. Design for them is about conviviality, they tell us whilst eating. The pieces they are presenting are the light, the chairs on which we are seating, the table on which we are eating: they are functional and comfortable. And this is how design should be.
