Sanwa Company, the essence of design at Milano Design Week
Japanese Modern Vintage: less is more
For over 35 years, the Japanese company Sanwa Company has been designing, producing and supplying materials and end products for residential interiors. Attention is focused on kitchens and bathrooms, along with a dedicated collection of fine finishes and surface coverings, all of which are characterized by a natural propensity for minimalism and pared-down formal design. A design research expressed this year by the long-awaited installation “Japanese Modern Vintage”, to be showcased during the Milano Design Week (4-9 April) in the “SolferinoLAB” space, an exceptional location that provides the setting for a dialogue between past and future. The exhibition, curated by Bestetti Associati, contemplates the launch of new product lines designed for kitchen and bathroom interiors, such as Patina, an encounter between Japanese technology, innovative materials and pure simplicity. These will be followed up by the Grad45 kitchens in the new “Vibrant” finish, alongside the neat little Ceragino in its new version. The installation will be valorised by Davide Groppi’s lighting design project.
