Archiproject and Volpi Confezioni together for the Mh Design line
For Fuorisalone 2016, Archiproject announces its partnership with Volpi Confezioni for the MH DESIGN luxury furniture line. The two Italian companies based in Tuscany have joined forces to create a line of contemporary furniture for the high-end interior design market.
The line will be previewed during Salone del Mobile, held from April 12 to 17, in an 80 square meter space of the Volpi showroom on Via Montenapoleone. A living room and bedroom will be presented in an extravagant, contemporary setting and will be composed of, respectively, a dining set, sofa, and chairs and a bedroom suite with bed, chest of drawers and bedside tables.
The two companies – backed by the tradition and know-how that they share – have created a unique line. Archiproject architects studied the design of the objects embellished with fur inserts created by Volpi. All elements have fur inserts: the decorator pillows on the sofa, the backs of the dining chairs, and even the table legs. To complete this exhibition, Liliana Cioni Salvini, a Tuscan company that produces refined linens, provided the luxurious yarns used to make the hand-embroidered towels and tablecloth.
The guideline for the entire collection was interchangeability: everything was designed to be replaced or alternated, and the design of the accessories and pieces can be tailor-made.
Archiproject and Volpi: Italian manufacturing excellence coming together to create a luxury project for the high-end interior design sector.
