Florim relaunches the CEDIT brand, a high-end product to create original and expressive dialogues with the world of art and contemporary design.
CEDIT - Ceramiche d’Italia has represented a hub for creative genius and industry for a whole generation of artists and designers, with exceptional results. The brand has been a unique reference point of its kind, proposing entirely new solutions for decoration and colour-rendering in interior architecture, developed thanks to the collaboration with some of the major exponents of art and design of the twentieth century.
The iconic collections bear the signatures of outstanding figures such as Marco Zanuso, Ettore Sottsass, Alessandro Mendini, Sergio Asti, Emilio Scanavino, Mimmo Rotella and Gino Marotta – originators of a really high-level creative standard – who have been supported by valuable creations of individual ceramic furnishing accessories designed by masters such as Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni, by the Gruppo Dam and, again, by Ettore Sottsass.
Synonymous for over half a century with material experimentation and stylistic research in the ceramics field, CEDIT today returns to centre-stage with a new season of expression, the outcome of its collaboration with some of the most prestigious names in contemporary Italian creativity.
It’s a trip among fabrics, symbols, erosions, materials and memories recounted through the vision and the creativity of artists and designers –Italian products of excellence throughout the world, belonging to different generations. Hidden universes emerge into personal readings and interpretations, renewing the idea of architectural space, the sense of place and of time, and of living. For the Fuorisalone, the spaces of Foro Buonaparte 14 will host the relaunch preview of the first six CEDIT collections signed by Barbara Brondi & Marco Rainò | BRH+, Marco Casamonti | Archea Associati, Giorgio Griffa, Franco Guerzoni, Matteo Nunziati, Giorgia Zanellato & Daniele Bortotto | Studio Zanellato Bortotto.
