Presentation of the new hidden kitchen and line of bamboo fiber plates
The new Urushi kitchen is called 20 on the occasion of the company's vetennial. Like the previous ones, Yaki and Bento, 20 is a hidden kitchen and is inspired by a Japanese sideboard. Wood is the protagonist and is the eucalyptus.
Bamboo Dinner Plates by Xenia Taler
Toronto artist Xenia Taler creates home and lifestyle goods inspired by culture, modernity, and craftsmanship. These playfully designed plates are made from sustainable bamboo, and are well suited for entertaining. They're also durable, dishwasher safe, and unlike glass or ceramic, they won't shatter when dropped.
Bamboo is a fast growing, renewable resource cultivated without fertilizers or pesticides. As a biodegradable alternative to plastic, it will break down naturally, returning to the soil without polluting the earth.
