The brand Kyoto Nishijin Textile unites five companies that have always operated in the Nishijin district in Kyoto, area of the city dedicated to weaving, and that in occasion of the Fuorisalone are presenting a selection of their best products in the prestigious location of Rossini Art&Design Hub

All five brands included in Kyoto Nishijin Textile employ sophisticated techniques that are usually not applied in the west and strive to make these techniques known and appreciated outside Japanese broders.

They all have a long experience behind, that they're able to reinterpret in a contemporary key, blending skillfully kimono's tradition, the traditional Japanese dress, with the modern taste and needs.

The five brands are: Tomiya Textile Corporation, Kiyata, Shinryusha, Okabun and Maitsuru.
