Soirée - Marco Merendi & Diego Vencato for Fratelli Guzzini

"Fratelli Guzzini works with plastic molding, a technology that allows infinite precision
in details. Hence the idea of designing an object that is perceived as precious,
refined and enduring, an elegant lamp in proportions and endowed with a
certain grace.
We decided to insert all the electronics at the top, in the diffuser, which then
becomes the nomadic component of the project: the same element makes it
possible to have a table lamp, a suspension lamp, a floor lamp and a wall lamp,
simply by adding an accessory.
Thus the image of an archetypal object is recovered: it's the lantern, a light that
moves with you and brings to mind the scents of a summer garden.
These characteristics make the lamp a delicate object that fits easily in any
