Superloft is an imaginary yet real home, curated by Giulio Cappellini, with the participation of the most interesting protagonists of the Made in Italy design and the masters craftsmen. An International home that could be placed in Paris as well as in New York in Berlin or Shanghai. A house that combines side-by- side iconic pieces by the most important furniture brands, in a synergy between contemporaneity and vision.

Salvatori on show at Superloft:

“Love me, Love me not” by  Michael Anastassiades

The stone is the star of the show in this side table designed for Salvatori by Michael Anastassiades with the specific intention of highlighting the opulence of the Verde Alpi marble used. His aim was to use a regal colour which conveyed the sumptuousness of marble, but at the same time, the design was not to overwhelm the eye. The skill lies in the perfect balance between lavishness and lightness with the three legs placed just far enough to ensure stability, drawn together at the centre to create a three-part column.

“Omaggio a Morandi” by Elisa Ossino

Inspired by the array of different types of stone she encountered working with Salvatori, designer Elisa Ossino has drawn upon the simplicity of form of Morandi’s still life images, reproducing them in stunning marble. From the classic elegance of Bianco Carrara and Botticino to the dramatic intensity of Cipollino and Rosso Collemandina, the collection brings together examples of marbles used in some of Italy’s most iconic architecture. The collection is made up of seven different decorative bottles, each one finished by hand in Salvatori’s Tuscan headquarters.

“Fontane Bianche” accessori by Elisa Ossino

The delicate touch and bold geometric forms that characterise the Fontane Bianche collection of basins and tapware continue in the range of accessories created by Elisa Ossino together with Salvatori. The soap dish and tumbler are made from single blocks of stone, creating a uniformity of colour and protecting the seamlessness of the pieces, whilst the table mirror is a mini-sculpture which is designed to sit beautifully not only in the bathroom but equally in the bedroom or dressing room with its conical base in 100% natural stone. Each piece is hand-finished in their Tuscan workshop.

“PLAT-EAU Classic 02” by Silvia Fanticelli

Italian designer Silvia Fanticelli has paired the ridged surface of Bamboo texture in the rich dark chocolatey tones of Pietra d’Avola limestone with classic Bianco Carrara marble. Natural stone contrasts with the understated glamour of the brass frame to create an object which can be used in all manner of ways and will sit perfectly in the bathroom, bedroom or kitchen and is perfect as a talking-piece serving platter.
