Anseja - Chair protoype

Anseja is a 100% Italian handmade product, boasting a contemporary style that adapts to any environment. Anseja is a hardwood chair composed of 49 interlocked elements fixed together with non-toxic glue. Glossy lacquered colors were chosen to give the object a modern and bright look. The 105 cm high backrest is perfectly responsive to ergonomic principles; its curvature radius was designed to perfectly adjust to the vertebral column. The seat is composed of interchangeable strips covered in natural multicolored leather padded with closed cell foam. The weight varies from 8 to 12 kg depending on type of wood. The chair structure is partly made up from elements that can be customized in colors and materials according to the environment you wish to create. The name "Anseija" is formed by the first two letters of the designer’s name, Antonio, and the word "Seja," an old mule track used to cross the Calabrian Apennines.
