Discover Baggio district, is filled with art, colors and charm.
Baggio is a district to be explored, with its historical Borgo, the Romanesque bell tower, the old courtyards and the atmosphere of Vecchia Milano small village. On April 8 Baggio fills with art: performances, openings, exhibitions and events for all. Come to breathe the air of the authentic Vecchia Milano.
Saturday, April 8, Baggio will be filled with art, with performances, openings, popular shows and events for everyone. Occhio a Baggio is an event organized and sponsored by the Cultural Association Viverebaggio.
Many are the events and artists scheduled for that date: the street artist Mattia Torreggiani will pay a tribute to the neighborhood with a live painting performance and there will be the inauguration and installation of four new works that will enrich the village with light, color and charm.
The decorative panels that will be installed in some Borgo's characteristic places, are the works of Tino Pessina - author of Volare Ancora, Pietro Spica - whose paintings, characterized by
bright colors and soft lines are shown in various Italian and American galleries - that will pay homage to our neighborhood with the panel La finestra sul futuro, Emilio Formenti with the panel titled Baggio and at last the group Le donne per i diritti with their tribute to Klimt's painting Le tre età della donna.
Local artists's works will also be displayed in the shops of the neighborhood for a week from April 8.
