Blank Hotel

Blank Hotel is the prototype of an all-white, unblemished room. A room that shall absorb the emotions and treasure the secrets of the host.

Blank Hotel is a place where hosts are encouraged to mark their emotional passage and visualize their feelings. An intimate touch of color that is both a reaction and a provocation.

Before entering the room, each visitor is asked to take a selfie at the ‘selfie station’ and choose a color filter. Each color is associated to a range of emotions and feelings. The photo is immediately projected onto a surface of the room to make a virtual patchwork of faces and emotions.

At the end of the week, CaberlonCaroppi will draw the emotional landscape from all the colors chosen by the visitors who passed by the Blank Hotel. This way, the room will reveal the mood of the city during the White Week.
