The Hello bench

The bench is by definition a shared sitting experience, but we often choose to sit on opposite ends because of indifference or fear of interactions. When we do interact, it is limited to a nod or a fleeting look, but we hardly ever even say hello. The Hello Bench is a special bench, that can shorten distances and give people the opportunity to connect and overcome the barriers of indifference we all face on a daily basis.
