Cloudscapes

The Eroici Furori contemporary art presents Cloudscapes, a dialogue between art and design, where ceramics and painting become a research ground for an unusual aesthetic dimension.

Cloudscapes chooses the cloud as symbolic inspiration and representation of the creative process, the origin of plastic forms capable of generating sensations and thoughts that keep the metamorphic capacity and the immersion in time of the cloud.

Nuvole Pigre Ceramica, designed by Matteo Gatti and Francesco Rigoni, chooses a selection of their ceramic objects characterized by shapes that enhance chiaroscuro and tonal effects or that, repeated in a potentially infinite series but with different colors, create suggestions that, like the clouds are only apparently repetitive but in reality they are in continuous transformation. Some works are also presented in which the link between gesture and matter is particularly evident: the sensitivity of the lathe records the minimum variations of touch on the earth.

Andrea Reggiani in collaboration with Tiziano Signorato presents the INTERFERENZE collection for Reggiani Ceramica, experimenting with the creative force of the analogical error on the digital 3D printing process. Oscillatory waves outside the machine alter and modify the pre-set path, impressing patterns on textures of primordial terracotta volumes, thus leaving their mark on the material forever.

Marcello Ghilardi (Milan, 1975) combines artistic research with academic activity, as an associate professor of Aesthetics at the University of Padua. At Gli Eroici Furori he presents a series of pictorial works, making the echo of the Chinese traditional ink landscapes dialogue with more typical techniques and supports of modern and contemporary Western painting. The chiaroscuro, the fog and the clouds thus become the imperceptible support of evanescent shapes, between the visible and the invisible.

The result is a path that, in the direct comparison between languages ​​and sensitivities, transforms the mutability of the present time into a plastic experience with an approach capable, at the same time, of generating beauty and asking questions.
