Antes Design_2019 Collection

The young Milanese brand founded by Antonella Tesei in fact continues on its journey of design research rooted in an in-depth study of surfaces and details. The new collection proposes a poetic and well-balanced line of furniture, which brings together essential shapes and a strong graphic imprint combined in various ways to create original textures. Authentic miniature architectures, wainscotings, tables, chairs, bureaus, combine slim metal structures with surfaces coated in various wooden essences – a combination that conveys strong emotions and a feeling of warmth and softness. A special optical game reveals the weave of the materials from up close, while from afar it attracts the eye with its suggestive graphic compositions. Finally, among the new pieces signed by Antonella Tesei is a creative interpretation of the mirror, which is read by the designer as a compositional and material element rather than a reflecting surface. The formal purity, sartorial details, and quiet elegance typical of the Asian furniture which has always inspired this designer underlie the entire collection.
