The Municipality Milan 5 (Via S. Gottardo / Via Meda / Chiesa Rossa / Piazza Abbiategrasso / Conca Fallata) debuts this year in the Fuorisalone circuit with an innovative and ethical proposal, DESIGN + SENSIBILE.
DESIGN + SENSIBILE is an initiative, created by Massimo Caiazzo IACC Italy and supported by the Municipality Milan 5, engaging visitors in a path dedicated to the possible integration between man and the urban environment to allow more pleasant everyday actions and interactions among people and the community as a whole. A model of cooperation between citizens, associations, institutions and business enterprises that underlines the need to humanize design to create peaceful and liveable contexts for everyone, respecting fully the well-being and dignity of people and the whole community.
The program includes a week of events taking place in the Municipality Milan 5, a hub of activity where there are excellences of culture and design that until today have not been included in the official Fuorisalone circuits including IACC Italia, Chiesa Rossa Library, PACTA Salone, Mauro Mori's Atelier and the studio of Johnny Dell'Orto, the Zeus Design Store , the Tam Tam school with projects coordinated by Alessandra Zucchi and Alessandro Guerriero, Chiesa Rossa with the installation of Dan Flavin .
DESIGN + SENSIBILE represents a great opportunity to regenerate and revitalize the social and cultural fabric of the neighborhood and to offer a different approach to design. Radio dei Navigli, an independent web-network of Zone 5, will follow all live events.
