The decorative Kazimir screen, inspired by the renowned painter Malevich, is the key item of the Colé Italian Design Label 2018 collection: conceived by dutch designer Julia Dozsa, it combines its historical function as partition wall with the explosive aesthetical effect of a painting.

"I transformed myself into the zero of shapes and went beyond the zero, that is, towards non-objective creation", explains Kazimir Malevich. Julia Dozsa made this theory her own and gave life to Kazimir, the original screen with a metal structure covered in stretch jersey fabric. Dozsa personalized it with the bright colours taht are typical of Malevich's paintings to fill in the shapes. Then, pushing herself even further, she extended the proposal of her interior decoration "art pieces" to other colours and subjects (flowers, petals, objects, etc) that echo the details of the paintings preserved in the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam.
