Primates Revolution

 Replay and Bosa, two outstanding creative manufacturers, join forces in presenting the works of Elena Salmistraro to the press and public at Milan Design Week.

As Elena explains: “In my artistic interpretation, primates—animals that most closely resemble humans not just in appearance but also in their gaze and the way they move—are characterized by very colourful textures, becoming an icon that seduces us with its vital force. In my new interpretation of the mask, I sought to strengthen the message conveyed in my vases and plates, proposing a bona fide domestic totem.” 

The installation and works presented by the designer create novel references to the new layout of the Replay store The Stage, embellished by the use of jungle-themed wallpaper and the floral prints and bright colours of the Replay SS18 collection, which create an ideal setting for the artist’s irreverent and uninhibitedcreativity.
