Fuorisalone 2016 is the occasion to start a new relationship between Italy and Japan, that aims to promote an international cultural exchange, by sharing the knowledge about raw earth, a common material for both countries, and its innovative use in the field of green design. Associations and society, from Italy and Japan, work together to organise multiple events
During the event “Fuorisalone 2016” have been born a new partnership between Italy and Japan. This
synergy want to promote international green cultury, by sharing the knowledge about raw
clay, a common material for both countries, and its innovative use in the field of green design.
Associations and society work together to organize multiple events, the first being a design
competition that will finish the last day of Fuorisalone event. The competition will improve by several
initiatives during the 2016:
16 february at Biblioteca Sormani, Milan
Introduction meeting in collaboration with MilanoMakers
2-17 april at Fabbrica del Vapore, Milan
Exposition of the competition's projects
8-10 april at Fabbrica del Vapore, Milan
Practical workshop by magister artis K.Matsuki and S.Suzuki about Migaki techniques, by ANAB
13 april at Fabbrica del Vapore, Milan
