SMART ACADEMY

POLI.design will be at Tortona Design Week with SMART ACADEMY, designed in collaboration with Spark Reply within BASE Milano, to explain the potential and thoughts models at the roots of Design Thinking and Strategic Design. The event, held at the Reply Smart Park, an accelerator of ideas driven by Design Thinking, will see some young talent from University Specializing Masters of the Consortium of Politecnico di Milano engage in live design sessions. In particular, some students selected by the Specializing Masters in Brand Communication, Industrial Design Engineering and Innovation, Service Design, Transportation & Automobile Design and Yacht Design will be the protagonists for the whole week of 3 workshops, coordinated by professors from POLI.design, on issues like Service and Interaction - SMART User Experience, Communication and Humanities - SMART wearable/people e Mobile Environments – SMART Mobile.

The program schedule of the activities of the Academy also includes a Design Challenge during which POLI.design student teams from the Specializing Masters in Brand Communication, Service Design and Strategic Design, under the supervision of POLI.design teachers and Spark Reply mentors, will compete applying the thought patterns underlying the design thinking and strategic design, to the design challenges provided by four leading Italian enterprises.

SMART ACADEMY also includes evening moments of in-depth analysis on User Experience Design and Design & New Entrepreneurship, and a Party to celebrate the newborn collaboration between POLI.design and Spark Reply.
