OUT OF DESIGN 2016 by Materioteca® - 5th edition

The event "Out of Design" is annually sponsored by Materioteca® to allow creative talents to display their appealing projects during the Milan Design Week.

A captivating location was chosen for this fifth edition: Base (ex-Ansaldo), via Bergognone 34, first floor. Opening April 12-17 2016, h 10.30 to 20.30, closing on Thursday at h 24.00 and on Sunday at 17.00.

The cluster is composed by:

CiBi, the artist that transforms acrylics into a design fabric seamed over lumps of nature, through an experimental materic process whose vestiges mutate into imaginative substance.

Roberto De Santi, designer, his collection Dune has been inspired by the shapes of natural waves, conveying motion to something that has remained static up to now.

Innovitalica, those who think that plastic processing is something boring obviously they have never met this company and its capacity to capture moon reflections into a synthetic crystal.

Vera Mazzolini, architect and designer, has reinterpreted sound waves with her container Icaro, playing with geometry, mathematics and 3D vision to create an ethereal form.

Davide Golzio, maker and designer, introduces the bijoux Wayfordesign, fashion accessories having clean and simple lines and a brisk innovative design made in a variety of materials.

Junglestyle originates from an idea of two designers, Max and Ale, to create a unique “style” dissimilar of usual design canons, a “jungle” of things with multiple styles and materials.

Cara\Davide, a design duo creators of Stipetto, a collection of subtle pieces with a lot of openness to display and organise items like papers, books, stationery and collectables.

Zara Tentriabeng, young Indonesian designer, plays with symmetry and geometric balance in her creations made with materials such as acrylic sheet, semiprecious stones, wood.
