Feels so Natural by Yamakawa Rattan

The dual soul of Yamakawa Rattan’s 2017 furniture collection reveals its extremely natural character: the sobriety of its Japanese origins (the brand was established in Tokyo in 1952) is combined with quality rattan from Indonesia, skilfully bent by hand using age-old techniques.

Yamakawa presents its new catalogue along with new collections designed by Omi Tahara (Japan) and Alvin Tjitrowirjo (Indonesia).

Petal is like a sort of giant flower, with a tall back made up of hand-braided, bent and curved rattan rings supported by thin strings of tone-on-tone leather: elements for creating a true indoor oasis or a refined, cosy open air setting with an atmosphere of relaxation and wellness.

Linger, in contrast with its name, has a fluid structure of parallel rattan canes in a shape that suggests a flowing motion, available in three different sizes.
