Exposure protagonist is the "JAR": 10 ancient Chinese pottery of the Neolithic are juxtaposed with 10 works by the Japanese Oki Izumi.

The vessel, in its simplicity, however, is a constant challenge for the craftsman and the artist, which aim to achieve a high esthetic result through a simple object for use in a constant dialogue between use and form. Crockery painted Neolithic, from northwestern China shows remarkable examples of a large abstract decorative repertoire and ornamental, and reveal unambiguously the tension of the beautiful of unknown craftsmen who have made them. Oki Izumi is a contemporary artist. His work takes place exclusively using industrial glass plates. By a faithful representation of recognizable boundaries, which report to a known object, the vase, Oki Izumi pushes his research far runs out the practical function of the object, which becomes pure form. The works of Oki, stripped of utilitarian constraint, thus become artistic expressions of great intensity.
