Stilnovo caposaldo del design italiano dell'apparecchio luce nel mondo

Founded in 1946, Stilnovo was for decades the most representative firm in the design of lighting appliances. As a laboratory, a forcing house of ideas, from the years of post war reconstruction and the economic boom, it aroused the interest of the historic magazine “Domus”, that provided a frame of reference for prestigious names in Italian design, from Achille and Pier Giacomo Castiglioni to Joe Colombo, Danilo and Corrado Aroldi, Roberto Beretta, Antonio Macchi Cassia, the studio De Pas D’Urbino Lomazzi, Ettore Sottsass, Cini Boeri, Gae Aulenti, who designed some memorable pieces for the small Milan firm. The presentation during the Milan Design Week 2017 aims to witness the productive and project excellence of Stilnovo, timeless entity.
