Blu Milano at NYX Milan - CENTRALE DISTRICT

From 29 March to 19 May, the NYX Hotel Milan - the street hotel in the heart of the city - presents "BLU MILANO", a photographic exhibition by Ilaria Borraccino, curated by Question Mark Milano. The search for beauty in the simplicity of places: this is the mission of Ilaria Borraccino, a Milanese artist whose passion for photography was born in 2006 when she began to explore abandoned factories and consolidated in 2010 when she entered, secretly, to photograph the Palazzo della Region during its construction. The exhibition presents a cycle of images in which the artist Ilaria Borraccino immortalizes Milan: a modern city in continuous change, which changes its skyline quickly thanks to architectural projects of absolute importance. A Milan that reflects itself, creating geometric structures that blend together with the awareness of the majesty of the form. Ilaria Borraccino stops the moment in an important historical period for the consecration of this city as an international metropolis and she does so by sharing her look with her works, the look of an absolute situationist nostalgic. Daniele Decia, curator of the exhibition, declares: «As the great photographer Henri Cartier-Bresson said," photography can reach eternity through the moment "and, admiring this city in continuous transformation through the works of Ilaria Borraccino, I believe that the sense of eternity can be obvious to all ». “BLU MILANO” is part of the artistic concept of the NYX Hotel Milan, which stands out for being the first hotel in Italy to host street art works by artists who have made the history of national and international writing and exhibitions, sculptures, installations and video art of emerging artists selected by Iris Barak, curator of the Dubi Shiff Art Collection of Tel Aviv, and by the diffused art gallery Question Mark Milano by Daniele Decia and Stefania Sarri.
