DELTA LIGHT ITALIA

Quality and technological innovation behind our understanding of architectural lighting.

On Monday 8th April, at 6.00 pm, Delta Light Studio Milan will be inaugurated in Via Gaspare Bugatti, an innovative showroom of the multinational company of the same name that designed the architectural lighting project for the Starbucks Reserve Roastery in Piazza Cordusio.

Part of an extensive program of initiatives promoted at the Milan Design Week 2019, the opening represents a symbolic rebirth of the Italian branch of the industry leader founded by Belgian manager and designer Paul Ameelot. "In the past few years our presence on the national territory was delegated to a series of distributors who limited themselves to marketing their products," explains Gianluca D'Avino, country manager of Delta Light Italia: "From this year, instead, we are present in first person with a structure that will allow us to convey the concepts of creativity, quality and technological innovation at the base of our way of understanding architectural lighting ”.

The Delta Light Studio located in the heart of Via Tortona, the Delta Light Studio Milan has been developed on an original format that will put together conceptual exhibitions, training activities dedicated to the study of light and above all the presence of experts and a smart lab dedicated to products. "The specialist consultants present in the Delta Light Studio Milan will be an integral part of our worldwide design network and will be involved in the development of integrated and customized architectural lighting systems" underlines Danilo Mandelli, director of the Italian Projects Division "Our products, then, they will be exhibited in such a way as to demonstrate their functional peculiarities and the idea of Pure lighting design that inspires them ". After the inaugural party on Monday 8 April, Delta Light Studio Milano will be visited by experts and the public until Sunday 14 April from 10.00 to 20.00. The opening of the space in via Bugatti will kick off a series of activities that will see Delta Light Italia among the protagonists of Milan Design Week 2019.

The Delta Archi Talks On 10th, 11th and 13th April the Delta Archi Talks will be held, a three-day thematic workshop realized with the prestigious collaborations of the UNS Studio and the APIL and IALD associations as well as with the participation of authentic archistars such as Ignacio Mallol Azcárraga, Tarik Zaharna, Dean Skira, Alfonso Femia, Pietro Palladino and Jason Edling.

From 8th to 14th April, an installation created for Milan Design Week 2019 will be open to the public and hosted in the Nuova Uruguay bowling club in Via Bugatti. The work recalls the concept of "rebirth" by proposing an interactive journey of golden spheres, black cubes and Polesano street lamps, the LED lighting system signed by Dean Skira who contributed to the company's international success. The busy schedule of activities organized for Milan Design Week 2019 is completed with three special participations. Products and lighting projects by Delta Light Italia will be present at Palazzo Bovara, within the exhibition “Onlife. Millennials at home ”organized by Elle Decor Italia; in the Gessi showroom in via Manzoni and at the Stecca 3.0. Two years later, therefore, Delta Light returns to Milan Design Week with initiatives that concretely testify its technical and creative leadership, in international markets and increasingly in the Italian market.
