DESIGN MEETS CRAFT

Uniqka’s exhibition will bring together new product launchings and new colours for the existing collections. Two new collections by Dutch designers Isabel Quiroga and Debbie Wijskamp are going to be unveiled at Milan Design Week. In addition, collections designed by Jacob de Baan, CARA \ DAVIDE, Bilge Nur Saltik and Uniqka design team will be on show at Ventura Future.

Uniqka is an Istanbul-based design brand that invigorates old craftsmanship traditions with new form and a subtle contemporary aesthetic. Uniqka designs focus on craft and material. The emphasis is on the versatility and elegance of leather.

Established three years ago, Uniqka is becoming a respected recognized name in the international design sphere. Collaborating with designers around the world, Uniqka creates handmade objects. The collection comprises of lighting pieces, side tables, tabletop objects, wall accessories and smaller office accessories.

Uniqka founders Kerem Aris and Merve Parnas are very happy to present works by Dutch designers Isabel Quiroga, Debbie Wijskamp and Jacob de Baan. Half of the designers, which Uniqka is presenting at Milan Design Week are from the Netherlands. Kerem and Merve: "We have great admiration for the fun, fantasy, and originality of our designers. It is so nice to experience how these new designs have enriched the assortment of Uniqka."

Kerem Aris and Merve Parnas believe in the excellence of handicraft and they are proud to say that all their products are handmade. All leather works are made in their studio by Kerem and Merve. Associating contemporary design with traditional handcrafting, Uniqka is ready to stimulate senses and emotions at Milan Design Week.
