Artpoint: behind the story

Silvano Lodi Jr. was born in Munchen back in 1958 and thanks to his father – a gallerist – he developed an intimate relationship with Art.

In 2018, Silvano founded ArtPoint with the desire to use his experience gained in dealing art to reinterpret the concept of "Art Gallery". Once limited to an exclusive physical space, now Art Galleries could adopt digital networks to make artworks more contemporary, establishing an authentic bond with digital generations.

Paintings are often seen as old objects without life; this vision significantly lowers the power of the image that eventually loses its precious link with observers and spaces. New printing techniques could help us to free again the power of the image while valorizing habitations, galleries and public spaces.

StudioAttuale – a young Interior Design studio located in Milan – organizes and promotes the event "ArtPoint: Behind the Story" supporting and sharing the mission of ArtPoint for Fuorisalone 2019.
For two days – 11th and 12th of April – visitors are given the chance to explore Silvano's private apartment proposed as a "mirror" of his vision. Furniture, artworks and design objects create a harmony that tells the Story, the Passion and the Desire to set new standards within the art industry.

For the first time, ArtPoint shows to the public a collection of carefully put together artworks printed in limited quantity: the aim of this atypical event is to build the missing link between traditional art and future art perspectives.
