PolliceLightGallery is a space where special editions and specialized products have always been designed and produced using innovation, art and technology. PolliceLightGallery’s collection is enriched this year with the addition of two light wall sculptures, FC01 and FC02, brass light paintings designed by Florencia Costa, Argentine architect and designer, with noteworthy professional experience. The designer's work studies, in particular the compositional role of light, where the strategic alternation of light and shadow are used to enhance the more "material" aspects of building. In FC01 and FC02, produced in limited editions, light is in fact treated as a material, with its own consistency and bodily properties, able to fascinate. The FC01 is characterized by a brass top, slightly away from the frame, which cuts a curved central void; the FC02 is unique for its thin, reflecting surface, suspended in a void. In both luminous sculptures, light filters past the front screens, exalts the boundaries, dialogues with the shadow, inviting the eye to go further, to explore the depth of the pieces. "They are paintings of light, they are experiences: color, intensity, temperatures... They are of the order of subjective experience. They are not objects.
