MILANO DESIGN FOREST

"Milano design Forest: the wood of the woods" is the title of a concept that dresses the trees of Corà Parquet with woods, colors and processes, an evocative open-air gallery of "wooden foliage" that will punctuate the center of Milan, woody species with which to furnish the rooms bringing nature and well-being into the living spaces. For this purpose, the Corà1919 forest offers a modular system of coverings and furniture with an innovative and functional design, designed by the passionate laboratory of Corà Parquet, enriching the crown of each tree with different types of wood to represent some of the countless decorative possibilities available from the world of interior design. The philosophy that inspired "Milano design Forest: the wood of the woods" stems from the analysis of the creative needs of designers based on increasingly flexible, functional and changing organizational models. The project in fact arises from a constant technological research that responds to the need for efficiency and adaptability, but which knows how to satisfy the gaze of those who live and choose this material. Cedar, Wenge, Padouk, Zebrano, Okoumé for solid woods are some of the finishes told by laser-shaped display panels with the profile of stylized trees. The crowns in different types of wood also recall the parquet collections such as the Wave Collection or Fabbrica 4.0, by Forever or Metal Luxury and will still be showcasing motifs and tree-shaped colors for the “L'Impronta del legno” Series , the series of pressed panels: veneered with real Oak wood for the creation of furniture. It should be noted that the decoration of the panels is obtained by pressing the material and not by incision, in fact all the layers are stacked and introduced into the press and then are hot pressed; a highly innovative and technological process in which all the layers of the panel are glued. They are a sign, a knot and the roughest and most material aspects of nature that inspire the creation of a bold and unrepeatable design.
