+GUSTO AL DESIGN

+Gusto al Design was launched initially by a designer 'call', the initiative then developed a panel of judges tasked to select 20 projects that will be ‘diffused’ across the city. The panel of judges is composed by the following members: Ginevra Bocini (art director of Bitossi Home), Biagio Cisotti (architect, professor and art director of Plank), Patrizio Cionfoli (director of design and interaction – Studio Volpi), Davide Cumini (architect and partner at Iarchitects), Manola Del Testa (art director of RCR Cristalleria Italiana), Alberto Maria Prina (designer, artist and professor at Accademia di Brera) and Alessio Sarri (master ceramist).

The inaugural exposition will be held on April 9th at the “Atelier” Space inside Santeria (Viale Toscana 31), along with design and taste themed talk, cocktails, and a James Holden & The Animal Spirits concert. Moreover, the 20 selected projects will also be exposed in some ‘Taste Windows’, set up in some of the most recognized spots throughout Milan’s districts: Ratanà Restaurant (Isola Design District), Da I Gemelli Restaurant (Brera Design District), Enrico Bartolini Mudec Restaurant (Tortona District), Savini Milano 1867 Restaurant (Galleria Vittorio Emanuele), Pinch - Spriti & Kitchen (Navigli District) and Ostello Bello (5VIE art+Design).

The exposition at the Santeria will remain open until April 14th, with projects by the selected young designers and glasses of the Prestige Collection by RCR Cristalleria Italiana (partner of +Gusto al Design). The glasses were created by recognized designers such as Biagio Cisotti, Manola Del Testa, Gum Design, Giulio Iachetti, Martinelli Venezia, Franco Raggi and Paolo Ulian. The aforementioned artists grinded the intrinsic and delicate decorations for + Gusto al Design.
