Kirkby Design at the Dream Factory Lab

Enter the world of Kirkby Design, where neon dreamscapes unfold before you, blurring the boundaries between fantasy and reality. Continuing a tradition of bold and inspiring installations Kirkby Design returns to Fuorisalone 2018, taking over The Dream Factory & Lab to launch their latest textile collections.

 

Maximalist displays of colour and pattern greet you in each of the five indoor spaces, finally arriving at a hidden oasis in the centre of bustling Brera. Enveloping the visitor into a cocoon of design are elements of pattern drawn from Kirkby Design’s textiles, adapted and repeated across walls, floor and ceiling in a delightful cacophony.

 

Contrasting environments, some with a conceptual approach are complimented by especially composed sound by Matt Stewart Evans, fully immersing the viewer into a unique and distinctive world of design.
