Emmanuel Babled at Anders Lunderskov Atelier

A discrete venue will take place, on appointment, for a selected group of collectors and curious. The chosen place is the atelier of the renowned Cabinetmaker Anders Lunderskov, an accomplished Danish carpenter who has been working with Emmanuel Babled, for a long time. There will be the launch of the latest Babled Editions, within the atelier´s environment, to demystify their origin and allow the public to appreciate the exceptional relation between designer and maker, intrinsic to each piece. On this occasion, two new exemplars of the Quark low tables will be launched. A Quark wood table with a dimension never seen before, of more than 320cm, realized in exsiccated solid elm wood, insuring its timeless existence. Another, a Quark in bronze, a massive sculpture of great proportions showing the intrinsic qualities of this strong material carved, by fonderia Valtorta. An exemplar of another unique low table, the Librastone, here in wenge wood, and defying gravity through the usage of complex algorithms. The Supernova Lamp, produced with the collaboration of Torart, will also be displayed in two distinct versions, with 100cm diameter. A thin layer of marble floating in the room, demonstrating how cutting-edge technology can allow surprising solutions. Together with a Digit Chandelier, launchend in the new colour Mirrored Bronze Grey, these pieces will curate the illumination of the space. A Pyros vase will also have its presence. A unique artwork developed in collaboration with the renowned VENINI masters, playing with their selected color pallet and the designer´s contemporary inspiration. Lastly, the launch of the hand knotted rug, Stripes, produced in India - the first of a range of rugs done on commission in various sizes and quality. With a design that plays with optical illusion, this piece introduces a new chapter on this edition, actually in development, together with designer Paolo Giordiano.
