CONTAMINIAMOCI by Gabriele Polidori and Laura Zeni - curator Serena Mormino DESIGN ART FASHION

From 16 to 22 April 2018, on the occasion of the SALONE DEL MOBILE in Milan, AMARTE organizes at the prestigious headquarters of the ACCADEMIA DEL LUSSO - School of Fashion and Design, via Montenapoleone 5, an event officially included in the FuoriSalone calendar where Art and Design interact perfectly with each other, contaminating and stimulating themselves.

"CONTAMINIAMOCI" by Gabriele Polidori and Laura Zeni - curator Serena Mormino - will tell the public and students of the Academy how DESIGN, ART and FASHION are common denominators of Italian culture and excellence in the world, mutually influenced more than ever from others, in terms of trends, forms, products and philosophy, but also of economics and socialization.
Design as an art form, the boundary between design and therefore science, design and art becomes increasingly confusing or simply differently interpretable.

An art that can also be used in everyday life, a tangible art in its entirety and perceptible with greater intensity, an intensity that involves the sense of sight and touch, which generates physical tangibility where it welcomes us and envelops us in the home.

Laura Zeni and Gabriele Polidori pay homage to two disciplines so close and closely related, with the spontaneity typical of those who love unconditionally and do not stop at constraints imposed by the most. And just as spontaneously, four-handed works are born - PROFILE CHAIRS - deriving from the two most identifying paths of the two: the portraits and profiles of the Zeni and the modular and decomposable Anagramma chairs by Polidori.

A red thread conducive to draw graphic signs and brush strokes with lightness but strong character.
