FUCINA PRESENTS DIGEST COLLECTION

Fucina is the design oriented and experimental branch of Lidi, a company with a long experience in the fine working of metal. In addition to its knowledge, Lidi works as complementary network of local artisans, thus creating an authentic metalworking district. The work of Lidi focuses on processing the material from a structural point of view and on a constant search for surface finishes, which arise from the specific needs of clients or from ideas within the company.

All products are made just out of metal combining different finishes.

Fucina’s desire is to work on innovative concepts and it does thanks to the collaboration with designers who, as the artistic director Maddalena Casadei says, share an interest in the richness of essentiality. The result is a collection that aims to make joints and welds disappear, seeking for a strength that distances itself from the heavy, industrial look typical of metal furnishings.
