A LETTO CON IL DESIGN: Design Hostel

"A letto con il DESIGN" transforms an old vertical factory, that has just become the biggest makerspace in Italy, in a new model of hospitality where the designers will live and at the same time exhibit their works. For this initiative, the space will display an innovative hostel, that will be a place where "life" mixes with the exhibition, and the exposure to analogical and digital machines, which animate everyday work and now mark the design of the space.
Each guest designer of the structure will have the possibility to customize an "accommodation" furnishing it with his own product, which will be an integral part of a group exhibition that can be visited during the whole Milan Design Week. An exhibition that will lead us, step by step, into the "design rooms" ... between themed events, talks that animate the tea of 5 p.m. and interactive performances ... This is a project by Studio Ghigos in collaboration with the Design System of Politecnico di Milano.
