The Joy of Bees by Relais & Châteaux

From April 20th to 21st, Relais & Châteaux, the hotel and restaurant association opens an artistic installation centred around the taste, texture and aroma of some of the world’s most exclusive honey. This beautifully botanic experience will transform the heart of the city’s Brera design district with an oasis of peace and tranquillity, highlighting the issues surrounding bee conservation in an enchanting way.

This event, which first premiered in London, will allow guests to escape from the frenzy of Il Salone del Mobile in a reflection of Relais & Chateaux’s commitment to protecting the delicate ecosystems around us in which bees play such an important role.

It will feature honey from hives directly maintained by Relais & Châteaux properties throughout the world, and demonstrate how their chefs and bartenders use unique honey in their culinary creations.

The Joy of Bees has been created in collaboration with London-based studio Bompas & Parr, which specialises in creating highly sensorial experiences connected to the world of food, design and architecture for commercial clients and cultural partners including the Victoria & Albert Museum, San Francisco Museum of Modern Art and The Garage Museum of Contemporary Art, Moscow.
