Nature calls up the most sincere, spontaneous emotions in people.
We learned art from Nature, and applied it to our ancestral images, attempting to imitate the model of nature.
Marble comes from the quarries of Carrara, in the Apuan Alps, where man has been digging for centuries in search of the purity of expression of architecture and sculpture. The artificial scenario contrasts with the marvel and naturalness of white.
From the Giant’s Causeway in Ireland come geometric forms of disarming, intact beauty, which humans can only deal with through mathematics and geometry.
We are thrilled by the idea that it may have been made by human beings, with its insistent regularity, forgetting that the things we give names to existed long before us.
Carrara Causeway, designed by Marco Porpora Architetti, is an installation ideally linking two very different landscapes.
Nature never ceases to amaze us, and humankind never ceases to imitate it and transform it into emotions.
