floreal Architecture

When i came in for the first time in Franco Mercandelli's shop pervaded me a known sensation: the order and rationalist aesthetics. The shop that consists of a single room is functionally divided into two; on the right a sinuous step separates the area dedicated to flowers and tall plants, on the left the passage and the counter. The light pervades this place in an amazing way, emphasized by mirrors on the right and left, in one case between the sheets of structural glass, in the other framed by small, simple but playful bows. In this way, even the whole luminous system underlines with dry and vivid neon the internal rhythm. Among the marble materials, a serpentine green prevails, which constitutes an excellent backdrop for the vegetation and above all for the flowers. My invitation is: enter and breathe in this sense of rational and sumptuous order and decor ... Piacentini Libera, this place reminds me of it lovingly.
