SWEET OVERDOSE BY LUDMILLA RADCHENKO

Design Week Welcome Party Milan - Design Week – Wednesday, April 18th, 2018 from 6 pm - During the Milan Design Week, Ludmilla Radchenko celebrates the first 10 years of her career in the art world. A history of art and fashion, presented at the Gallery Robertaebasta (Via Solferino, front civic 3) in the heart of Brera, one of the Fuorisalone's most representative areas. The artist will host a special "Art Cocktail", in collaboration with the Cuvage winery, which is already a regular appointment of the Design Week: an unmissable opportunity to met Ludmilla and to find out more about her colourful and elegant world. A series of artworks created by the artist in these first 10 years, with a special focus on the latest
"Pop Cakes", will be exhibited with the historical pieces of furniture of the renowned showroom, which is going to host the artist for the ninth year. The “Pop Cakes” artworks represent lively cupcakes, which are the sweet trend of the last years; they are realized with the collage technique and a delicate work of hand-made details. Together, the paintings represent a "sweet overdose", a luxuriance of art, colours and energy. Throughout the duration of the Design Week, Robertaebasta space will present not only Ludmilla
Radchenko's art, but also the "Multiples of Art", decorative panels of the Pop Vision project, created in collaboration with OltreDesign, and the famous FullArt of the brand "Siberian Soup FullArt".
On the side of the design world, the real protagonist of the week, will also be presented the handpainted resin sculptures of the "Art Essence 3D" series and the interior design elements of the "Art
Trunk" and "Art Venus" projects: unique objects to colour your home or shop with a special pop touch. An explosive combination of colors and style, there's something for everyone!
