design for reading

An exhibition dedicated to sharing public spaces: "design for reading" which will deal with design for reading, but not only, also for listening and taking your own time: the idea is that design, in its close relationship with individual, be at the service of a shared space. In the context of the arcades of the Rotonda della Besana a place will be created to welcome, stop, talk and listen. "Design for reading", in collaboration with Bookcrossing, Parco delle Lettere and Quarto Paesaggio, will be set up with a series of conversation places where people can rest, exchange books, listen to talks and music enjoying the beauty of the garden and drinking a coffee, but also see and know the history of all the palced sittings : examples of anonymous or signed design, vintage or new.

The design on show will not be static but in action for people, an "interactive" exhibition in dialogue with the landscape, the place and with the visitors who will be invited to use a public space in the sense of a place available to all and responsibly. It will be a starting point  to know Porta Romana Area.
