Babila Hostel&Bistrot's Fuorisalone '18

Art, design, music and quality food immersed in the historical-architectural charm of a unique location in the pulsating heart of Milan. This is the theme of the weekend dedicated to the Fuorisalone '18 of the Babila Hostel & Bistrot, the brand new "Design Hostel" of Via Conservatorio 2 / a, which became, just a few months after the opening last August, one of the first hostels in Milan.

It starts Friday, April 20 at 16:00 with "Babila Hostel - the project", a corner dedicated to the birth of the idea and its realization by the ARX2 architecture firm, author of the redevelopment project and in charge of the works restructuring of the structure of Via Conservatorio, which will trace the historical origins revealing some curiosities and anecdotes.

Following "Art in Contemporary Design" by Atelier TuttoNero, an independent collective of artists and designers who develop multidisciplinary projects with one goal: to make accessible the art, the unique piece, the particular and valuable object. Two in particular the creations on display at the Babila Hostel: the Neda armchair, the result of an Iran-Italy intercultural project, realized with kilims, a sort of geometric-shaped carpets produced by the tribes of Iran and the Middle East; the Eva table, inspired by the female figure in the history of art, influenced, in particular, by the expressive intensity and psychological introspection in the works of Egon Schiele.

At the time of the aperitif, space for the opening "ID" of Alice Cantoro, a young illustrator and fashion designer, who analyzes the concept of "identity" in a collection of different variations in various subjects that come to life through images, illustrations and words belonging to an imaginary linked to music, fashion and poetry.

Musical closing, from 9.00 pm, with Alessandro Ponti's "Delta Blues" live in the Bistrot area.

Saturday 21 is "Saturday Night Karaoke", the party dedicated to all the singing talent that has become a regular appointment on Saturday night at the Babila Hostel, for this time, of course, in the "special edition Fuorisalone '18" version.

Last but not least, on Sunday the 22nd from 11.30 am to 3 pm, the "Brunch on the roofs of Milan - The natural break from the Fuori Salone" organized in collaboration with MiMoto e-Scooter Sharing on the #TerrazzaBabila, "cool" location in the center of Milan, an oasis of peace where you can enjoy something light, tasty, modern, and then dive back with renewed energy into Milanese events. All themed strictly "Green"!

Moreover, on the occasion of the "Earth Day", each guest will receive a sachet of "MiMoto yellow" flower seeds that can be planted during the event in the special jars that will decorate the terrace.

To accompany the whole a DJ-set of "lounge" music.

Cost of the event: 12 euros per person, including a free welcome drink delivered to the cash register at the time of registration, and the possibility of registering in advance also online on the Eventbrite platform. Admission allowed while seats last.
