DSLcollection: VR museum and chinese contemporary art

DSLcollection was founded by Dominique and Sylvain Levy, and is managed by their daughter Karen Levy also founder of  The Art of this Century. 

This is the very first time that DSLcollection virtual reality museum will be exhibited in Italy and is introduced to the Salone del Mobile in Milan by contemporary Chinese art specialist Dagmar Carnevale Lavezzoli. 

Since its inception, DSLcollection has aimed to harmoniously bridge Art, Humanities and Science and is recognised as one of the most important collections of Chinese contemporary Art in the world. 

Their vision is to build a timely and timeless cultural brand based on some of the models of the luxury industry.

DSLcollection has also decided that the collection should be a nomadic collection and has refused to be fixed in one spot and instead, opts for extending the notions of art spaces using the globalized arena of the digital world.

Born into a screen-based world, today’s new generation move in and out of the physical and virtual worlds at ease, believing that each world is “real” to them.

From 2005 ( the year of the first video posted on Youtube ) DSLcollection went from a website to 2D and 3D museum, and in 2012 a museum on Second Life and now augmented reality and a virtual reality museum.
