Shibukusa Ryuzo Pottery Works

The city of Hida- Takayama dates back 1300 years ago, since then it has been known as the 'city of craft', this was because of the carpenters who worked in Hida. A traditionnal custom in Hida each year, was that ten villagers would offer their skills to the central government instead of paying taxes.

The Shibuhusaryuzougama was created 180 years ago in Hida-Takayama during the Edo period. On this occasion we have decided to present the works of the VI and VII master, and the aroma diffuser created by the VII master in collaboration with the "RYOTA YOKOZEKI STUDIO" with the "Museo Corporation".

     At Fuorisalone, we hope you can enjoy the world of the aroma diffuser created by Ryota Yokozeki VII in collaboration with "Museo Corporation".
