Design Week 2016 - Furniture as characters, as distinctive unique pieces, each with a story to tell. The
common denominator? A touch of eccentricity. Furniture for men and women who are not afraid to be bold,
who are willing to let their imaginations run wild in a dreamlike, extravagant and ironic world.

Each bespoke piece by Reloaded Design™ is the outcome of patient work to revive traditional craftsmanship. With exquisite workmanship, Eliana Trentalancia reinterprets antique pieces, giving them an unconventional and esoteric new life.

Reloaded Design™ thinks outside the box, creating a unique and specific style.

In an era marked by the desire to rediscover the values of Italian tradition, Reloaded Design™ offers an answer to this market niche by recovering abandoned pieces from all over Italy and giving them a new life – so that they can embark on new adventures.

Each piece comes from a different era and shows a variety of Italian workmanship techniques. Mirrors, iron,
glass beads, perforated metal, semiprecious stones, bijoux, esoteric symbols, paper and fabric, jade, skulls,
zodiac signs are all used to give each piece an individual mood: weaving a dream, a poem, mystery and
magic.

Every item is inspired by different cultures and epochs, from Gothic to French Baroque. Opposing materials
are put together - poor and precious- for fun, to challenge the conventions of traditional design.

The Reloaded Design™ event will feature the extraordinary participation of the artist Pier Lorenzo Salvoni, a
brilliant and poetic interpreter of the refined evanescence of candlelight and electric lamps, the creator of
unique works made entirely by hand and present in the most beautiful houses around the world. Salvoni has
agreed to display his magnificent creations, and for the exhibition he has created a site-specific installation of his most famous and widely recognized works. A framework of excellence for the unique pieces by Reloaded Design™.

For Design Week 2016, the elegant proposals of the Neoclassica Gallery of Emma and Rossella Bentini,
precious and majestic antique furnishings, objects and paintings in the Empire style, will harmonize with the
creations of Reloaded Design™ and with the sophisticated artistic touch of Pier Lorenzo Salvoni’s luminous
installations, demonstrating that beauty and elegance have no fixed era or established stylistic elements.
“Reloaded” …the word speaks for itself.

The aim of this work is to bring emotion to each recovered piece of furniture, giving new energy to a creation that is poised between art and craftsmanship.
