Alas de Angel - Light Sculptures by Patricio Parada

On the occasion of the Design Week, LeA Boutique hosts "Alas de Angel", the exhibition of Patricio Parada's artistic creations.

In addition to the wonderful jewels of this skillful Chilean designers, you will be able to admire its lamps, real light sculptures born from the evolution of the technique with which Patricio working metal.

The cocktail party presentation will be held on Thursday, April 14, from 18.00 to 22.00; the exhibition will be seen in boutiques from 12 to 17 April 2016 at the following times:

Patricio Parada carves the plates that will give shape and life to his lamps as if they were scraps of escaped thoughts. The worked metal so acquires a lightness that is not just material.

The lamps, real light sculptures, born from the evolution of personal technique developed by the artist allowing him to draw freehand on the metal, creating an unusual embroidery.

With the lamps, the work of Patricio Parada gets closer and closer to the concept of sculpture and looks for lines that float in the air and live through his own shadow.

Made of bronze, aluminum and brass these light sculptures are galvanic finishes designed to create light effects and unexpected color effects.
