Mia E Göransson. Solo Show

During Fuorisalone, Officine Saffi presents the first solo exhibition of the eclectic Swedish artist/designer Mia E Göransson (Sweden 1961). With modular elements that recall packaging, chemicals and design, the artist creates a new kind of nature with a strong poetic and ironic charge. Mia E Göransson works on simple surprising objects: branches, leaves, buds and other natural fragments are combined with basic geometric shapes, such as the cube and the cylinder. The artist is able to impress in these elements strength and emotional content, building small, self-sufficient, aesthetic universes.
