Young Factory Design - Confindustria Salerno

An exhibit of designer objects “Made in Salerno”, a result of a cooperation between industries and  young designers from Campania Region.

Valeria Prete, president of the  Confindustria group “Design Tessile Sistema Casa” from Salerno, organized an exhibition to showcase the products made by the factories of the group by the winning designers of the first contest: “Young Factory Design”.  

The exhibition will take place at the Gallery “Area 35” Via Vigevano 35-  in Tortona Area. The location will highline the artistic verve and serial production capabilities of the 10 manufacturing companies. Unique pieces showing  the innovation history of the manufacturing companies and their willingness to communicate with their territory.  

Following is a list of the factories, designers and their products being exhibited at “Area 35”

Hebanon - Fratelli Basile from Nocera Superiore exhibits the credenza “Gallery” and the table “Sweden” (designed by Rita Mazzeo and Roberto Cappelli), both from their luxury collection and exhibited at the Salone del Mobile; Cianciullo Marmi from Salerno exhibits Meandro, a marble pannel  of Jessica G. Di Mare and Tommaso Cossu; a set of marble plates designed by Diego Granese (contest IKA 2016_ Kitchen Olimpiade in Erfurt – Germany); Fornace De Martino from Ogliara presents “ Ricordi del Sud”, ceramic tiles designed by Libero Rutilio; Lamberti Design from Cava de’ Tirreni exhibits the modular coatrack “Costellazioni” designed by Antonietta Memoli, Paolo Casaburi and Maria Luna Nobile; Opus Mosaici from Castel San Giorgio exhibits the tiles “Ribben” designed by Area 22; Manifatture Tessili Prete introduces Kubbik, a wall divider in wood and fabric by Tommaso Auletta and  Giuseppe Capasso; A4 Design & Contract from Olevano sul Tusciano & Rinaldi Group of Giffoni Valle Piana exhibits Be Relax, a sectional sofa designed by Alessandra Pedone; Tekla – Doors and windows from Sarno exhibits the door Clunk by Giuseppe Miele.

The Neapolitan company Marine Leather exhibits their leather collections for luxury upholstery.
